This video shows an incident involving Champaign Police Officer William Killin. Killin yells in the face of Alton Corey, then shoves him. Killin and Officer Dillon Holloway then both grab onto Corey and pull him forward, smashing his face into a steel door. Champaign Police officers tried to cover up their battering of Alton Corey by charging Corey with aggravated battery and resisting arrest. All charges were dropped after a review of the video footage.
The incident resulted in injuries to Alton Corey, who settled a lawsuit with the City of Champaign for $220,000.
